Update on Mom… “The Word of God is not bound”! 2 Timothy 2:9

About one year prior to publishing Mom’s Keepsake, the author, Mom, experienced an ischemic stroke. Although she has recovered substantially in just about all areas of health, and the family is blessed to have her still, Mom’s speech has been taking time to recover.

With just about twenty percent of Mom’s speech back at the release of this book, it could have seemed like a win for the enemy. “Why Lord, would you take the voice of the family’s spiritual leader?” Well, mom’s current soundness is an absolute demonstration of God’s glory! The family quickly realized that the Keepsakes mom wrote over the decades have been preserved for forever. All that she has ever emphasized about Christ in the past or would have in the future is written down in her Keepsakes! Nothing else actually needs to be verbally said.
